Madidi national park

With 1.8 million hectares, the Madidi National Park is one of the ecosystems that remains the most intact in South America. Its landscapes range from humid rain forests to the snowy peaks of the Andes. This place is a true utopia of wild fauna, which gathers 44% of all mammals in America, 38% of amphibian species and more than 1000 species of birds. In 2015, the Identity Madidi initiative was in charge of exploring and documenting the richness of the park, discovering new species of frogs, bats, snakes, cats and birds.
